Accepting Clients - September 2024

Individuals - Teens & Adults - Virtual & In-person

I believe that therapy can create a transformative space in which to better understand one's identity, beliefs, and place in the world. My first focus is getting to know you within a safe and trusting environment. I listen deeply during sessions to acknowledge and center my clients’ voices, stories, and experiences. Working alongside you, I will help you identify your goals and support you in seeking insight, self-esteem, and wellness.

My approach is integrative and person-centered and includes mindfulness techniques, strengths-based focus, cognitive and behavioral interventions, and narrative therapy. I love working with adolescents and adults as they navigate life changes and challenges on their way towards greater self-compassion, understanding, and empowerment.

I am currently in the final year of my Master's in Social Work program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore where I am also a member of the Research Assistant Scholars Program. I also hold bachelor's and master's degrees in literature from Middlebury College. Prior to my time at Insight Wellness, I spent 24 years in education as a secondary English teacher, department chair, grade level dean, and academic advisor where I supported adolescents, their parents, and colleagues.

I provide psychotherapy services under Supervisor, Tracy Lieb LCSW-C.
