Psychotherapist II
Individual & Couples Therapy
Teens - Adults
Therapy is a powerful tool that can be used to unlock a person’s greatest potential and I am so glad you’re here! As a therapist, it is important to me to meet people where they are and work with them to create meaningful change. Life can bring feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation; feeling difficult and hopeless at times. I am eager to help individuals and couples feel hopeful again. In sessions, I strive to create an authentic, welcoming atmosphere, understanding that trust is the foundation for a successful therapeutic relationship.
I hold a Masters degree in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Prior to joining Insight Wellness, I worked for Kennedy Krieger Institute for four years. My past experiences have allowed me to gain awareness and empathy into how life's challenges impact individuals on all levels: mentally, emotionally and physically. It is extremely important to me that clients feel safe and understood while trusting me with their stories. In addition to my work history, I have additional graduate level course work in Managing Crisis, Mindfulness approach to Wellness, Alcohol & Drug Counseling, Lifestyle and Career Development & Decision Making. I have continued my education completing RLT (Relationship Life Therapy) Level 1 and currently training in 10 Core Principles of Couples Therapy through the Gottman Institute.
My therapy style is collaborative, compassionate and unique to each individual or couples needs. I strive to emphasize that I work alongside clients and I am a firm believer that no one knows the client better than themselves. As a therapist, it’s my job to listen and understand a clients perspective and values in order to work with them to address their issues.
I look forward to learning about your story and the many ways therapy can add more balance to your life!
