New year & a new perspective
New year and a new perspective brought to our Insight Wellness Team of clinicians! Introducing Timothy Moslener, LCPC to our practice. Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to the work he does. He is pensive, taking time to develop trust and a relationship with his clients in order to provide them with a safe space to process emotions and develop hope for their future.
Tim has been providing services to a variety of clients in and around Baltimore. He gained skills from various agencies, in college mental health counseling at Stevenson University & Goucher College to outpatient mental health services providing in-home psychotherapy, as well as private practice.
Developing a passion for mindfulness, he witnesses growth within his clients using mindfulness techniques in conjunction with various evidenced based practices. He incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, into his mindfully based therapy. Developing these skills with his clients, assist them to slow down, develop clarity and a passion to make changes. Mindfulness allows his clients to pay attention to their experiences and their emotions, without being controlled by them.
Tim sees individuals and couples, age ranging from 16+ to adults. He has experience with College Age students, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, men's issues, women's issues, is an LGBTQ ally, as well as managing general life transitions. In addition, his interests include, but are not limited to, working with men who have relationship issues and working with couples. Here he bringing a male perspective that is not always available within the therapy community.
Tim's passion and ability to connect with his clients embodies the spirit of Insight Wellness and will surely leave a lasting impact on his clients.
