Meet Jess Ayer, LCSW-C

Another new addition to the Insight Team! We are thrilled to have Jessica Willard Ayer, LCSW-C join us! Jess is a well known Eating Disorder specialist in the Baltimore area, she will be providing family therapy for teens and adults struggling with an eating disorder. She has years of experience working for and being trained by nationally recognized eating disorder organizations at the cutting edge of ED treatment. This gives her clients access to an incredible therapists with a deep understanding of the full impact an eating disorder has on the entire family unit - she has so much to offer our clients.

Jess is compassionate and eager to provide support for families who are struggling. She utilizes various evidenced based skills to assist families to explore the role of the eating disorder. The importance of family therapy for clients with eating disorders is often overlooked or not as accessible at an outpatient level; Jess recognizes the need for this piece in our community. Her collaborative style, will seamlessly work with current treatment teams, enhancing those services in order to help your family find wellness.

Jess has various openings, including evening appointments; she accepts CareFirst BC/BS (all plans), Magellan, Cigna, and can also provide out of network services.
